I am having trouble with FTP.
What Should I Do?
Open your FTP client, and enter the FTP details as follows:
- FTP server: www.yoursite.com
- FTP username: yoursite.com
- FTP password: your UPPER case original Mr Site password.
(n.b. Replace "yourwebsite.com" with the website name that you have chosen.)
Put your files in the remote WWWROOT folder. Call your main homepage default.htm (overwrite the existing . le if there is one). Usually the passive transfer option in your FTP software should be turned off. Please turn it off now. This could solve your problem. Sometimes, however, depending on your network connection and any firewalls you may have installed, you may wish to turn Passive Transfers on. If it is already off, please turn passive transfers on and see if this solves your problem.
Editor's Note : If you are using FTP to edit your site you will not be able to use the MrSite Editor as they will delete all your files when you click on "Publish".
